Most people stay stuck because they do not write what they want.

Ever wondered why some of the most successful people are good at writing? Writing helps their ideas travel through the universe more effectively, and it speaks for them in their absence. That keeps great writers alive even after thousands of years. Great writers have always been seen as an inspiration in every society.

Meanwhile, most everyday people avoid writing, thinking it is useless: “Why should I write? It requires time that I do not have.” They have always been filled with excuses to avoid writing.

Now I want to tell my story. Two years back, I started writing a daily journal for 30 to 45 minutes about what I was doing, what I wanted, and how I could get it, which made me aware of my blind spots. Since then, I have kept writing, and it unlocked abilities you cannot get unless you write daily for a year. You start seeing patterns in your life that show how things are working around you, what is really making you weak, and why you are not able to reach where you dreamed about. You also learn how you can break those patterns and really get what you want.

To be a writer, you need patience, and most people do not have it. Because of that, they ignore one of the most critical skills in their life. As a result, they stay in the same patterns. They feel it every day but cannot break it. They keep wondering why the things happening to them keep happening to them. Anyone who wanted to achieve a big dream always had to write it down.

But you will say that you have seen people succeeding without writing anything. Just look at their lives: they are living in a very dangerous state of mind, always keeping everything in their head. They often make mistakes, stay anxious, and never truly understand things. They live in miserable ways.

You need to write what you want in your life so you can start seeing it. You can define it: how it will look, how big it is, what the numbers in your bank account will look like, what type of reputation you will have, what people will be saying about you, and what types of mistakes you can make. Then you can take measures to avoid those mistakes and keep yourself safe in the world.

When you keep writing, you develop a bank of your own knowledge that you can share with the world. You can use it to spread your voice and promote yourself in a much better way. You can help others in their business with better offers, websites, and narratives. Writing is really a valuable skill to practice. It keeps you sharp, it makes you better every day, it can earn you a living, and it keeps your brain healthy.

This article started with a thought. As I kept writing, ideas came, and I found my own mistakes. I improved it further to make it sharper and more readable. Finding words is also a fun game. You start enjoying the process once you sit down for 15 minutes and make progress. As you go deeper, you start making sense, but you always have to be aware of your topic and your readers’ valuable time. Keeping it minimal, direct, and concise can make your writing much more engaging.
